Why is electrostatic spray painting so effective?
Electrostatic painting is the cleanest method of spray painting.
This electrostatic process means the surrounding areas only need to be minimally masked or protected.
How it works – the electrostatic field causes atomisation, forming a spray pattern of electrostatically charged particles. Paint is electrostatically pulled to the item to be painted, depositing almost all of the paint onto the metal. Since no air pressure is used for atomisation, there is no blast of uncontrolled overspray.
